Mālie Moana Donation Shirt
AOHE HANA NUI KE ALU IA is an ancient Hawaiian proverb that translates to "no task is to big when done together by all!"
After the fire my shop was closed for 3 months and during that time we assisted in the proper recycling/sorting of excess donations that were headed to the Maui landfill. The unusable items were shipped back to the mainland to be recycled appropriately by For Days which is a company that specializes in the recycling of textiles.
100% of the proceeds of this shirt are used to cover those shipping costs and the excess will be donated to our local donation hub ʻOhana, Napili NOHO.
The tees were graciously donated by Jung Maven and of course are plastic free.
Material: 55% hemp, 45% cotton
The printing was wood carved by a local artist Mālie Moana Art. She as well graciously donated her time to create the stamp and make all the tees!
