Saltwater Budda is the art and Sherri is the artist. She is a lovely hard-working woman from Lāhainā that just so happens to also make beautiful soap! All of her soap was hand-made in her home and her business was thoughtfully run with the help of her entire ʻohana. All of the soaps were made with coconut clay, love, and aloha.
Her home has since burnt down in the devastating August 8th fires that took our beloved town. We have a few precious soaps left in our inventory and are eager for her to set up a new shop so that we can purchase more!
At Hoʻolawa, we’re all about celebrating Maui’s magic through locally made treasures you won’t find just anywhere. From aloha shirts and resort wear to handcrafted soaps and playful keepsakes, every piece is made with aloha and tells a story. We’re here to support our island’s artisans, share their craft, and bring a little Maui joy your way.
