MAI Bodywear pieces are designed to be intimates, and while they can double as swim there’s some things to keep in mind! Some of the lighter prints and colors can become sheer when wet. If you do want to swim in your Mai and are concerned about coverage we would recommend choosing darker prints and colors, or doubling up with Taupe! To extend the length of your garments:
- Avoid wearing MAI in overly chlorinated water - if you do, rinse and wash immediately afterwards
- Hand wash with a gentle soap in cold water, hang to dry in shade
- Keep away from rough surfaces, lotions, and sunscreens
- Suits should be worn with care and not overly stretched
MAI ready-to-wear collections are crafted from 100% bamboo, requiring delicate care to maintain its quality.
To maintain your garment hand wash in cold water and hang dry. You may notice the garments contract slightly when damp and appear smaller after drying. However, gently using a warm clothes streamer will restore the fabric to its original dimensions and the softness you love.
For Bodysuit sizing - Average your bikini top and bottom size to choose your bodysuit size. If you prefer a cheekier fit you can choose the smaller size if top and bottom sizes are not the same. If you have a long torso we would recommend choosing the larger size.

Shipping times vary depending on your location. Once your order is processed, it typically takes 3-7 business days within the United States. International orders may take longer. You will receive a tracking number once your order is shipped, so you can follow its journey.

We have a 10-day exchange/return policy on items not listed above IF they are in the same condition as when purchased - unworn, unused, original tags attached, in original packaging, WITH RECEIPT.
