Since 2010 MANOA CHOCOLATE has been crafting bean-to-bar chocolate on the Hawaiian Island of Oʻahu. They ethically source cacao beans from Hawaiʻi and around the world, with a goal to bring out the best in each bean.

Bean-to-bar is a movement in chocolate that focuses on quality over quantity. Rather than sourcing cheap to blend from a variety of regions, MANOA CHOCOLATE works directly with farmers to source quality cacao at high prices and tell the story of where the chocolate is grown. This is our process from the cacao bean to the chocolate bar.

MANOA CHOCOLATE works closely with 10 Hawaiʻi cacao farms to source premium crops with varying flavor profiles, from dry Mililani to lush Hamakua Coast and the slopes of Maunakea. Each collabortion producing a unique variation of chocolate bar.

Made in Hawaiʻi

All Manoa Chocolate is made in their factory in Kailua, Oahu.

Direct Trade Cacao

Mānoa Chocolate buys cacao direct from the farmer. This allows them to establish long lasting relationships based on trust and quality. By cutting out intermediaries they can also pay our farmers higher prices for their crop.

Sustainably Packaged

Each chocolate bar is packaged using recycled paper and wrapped in a biodegradable plant-based fiber.

About the Bar: Coffee plantations first emerged in Hawaiʻi in the mid 1800’s. From then the crop has thrived, with over 8,200 acres planted across the state. Here in Hawaiʻi, more farms now grow coffee than any other crop, and Manoa Chocolate is proud to be able to source locally grown coffee for this bar. pairs well with petite syrah, coffee liquers and porters

Details: 55% dark milk chocolate. Ingredients: cacao, organic cane sugar, organic whole milk powder, cocoa butter, Hawaiian coffee. 2.1oz (60g) bar. Contains milk. For maximum flavor, store and eat chocolate at 65-70° F.

If you need to make any changes to your order, please contact us immediately at hoolawaco@gmail.com with your order details. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that changes may not be possible once the order has been processed.

Shipping times vary depending on your location. Once your order is processed, it typically takes 3-7 business days within the United States. International orders may take longer. You will receive a tracking number once your order is shipped, so you can follow its journey.

We have a 10-day exchange/return policy on items not listed above IF they are in the same condition as when purchased - unworn, unused, original tags attached, in original packaging, WITH RECEIPT.

Please do not send your package without prior communication via email. Items sent back to us without first communicating via email will not be accepted.
